Quinoa Breakfast Porridge

Vegan & Healthy idea for breakfast



-1 cup quinoa

-2.5 cups almond milk (original, unsweetened)

-1/4 cup honey

-1/2 tsp ground ginger

-1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

-1/2 cup roasted nuts ( Almonds, cashew, hazelnuts…)

– Any toppings of your choice : dried or fresh fruits, cocoa beans, homemade fruit mousse…



-thoroughly rinse quinoa in a fine mesh sieve and drain.

-over medium high heat, combine quinoa, almond milk, honey, cinnamon and ginger and bring to a boil, uncovered.

-reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring.

-serve with additional almond milk and your choices of toppings.
