Hello My Soup!

Lunch, Day #1 : Lentil Soup with balsamic & fresh coriander

During all the diet, for your meals, you can choose between being delivered to your place or going to Avocado Cafe to get your breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I did choose to go to Avocado for my lunch today. The soup was really good and the portion was clearly big enough to fill me up after my morning workout.

At Motion this week is the Squat challenge; Every day we are increasing the number of squats during the workout. Squats are among the most efficient exercise to strengthen your whole body (focusing : legs, butt, abs, back)

After this morning training it is important to have the right nutrition

: the good proportion of proteins, carbs and fat.

It is very important to combine those three.

What I mean is …  it is very important, if you exercise, to have a good balance eating both : proteins, carbs and fat. Then depending on your body, metabolism, weight and level of  exercise, you have to adjust the amount of each. Everybody is different and have different needs.

The best advise is to try different diets : Vegan, Paleo, Low carbs, Gluten-free, High protein…

See with which one you are feeling the best and then you just need to adopt it…!

Lentils are a “super-food”, very good as a post workout meal as they contain a lot of protein.

Of all legumes and nuts, lentils contain the third-highest levels of protein. 26 percent of lentil’s calories are attributed to protein, which makes them a wonderful source of protein for vegans and vegetarians.

They also contains a good amount of fibers and minerals such as iron.  Lentils are definitely a super-healthy-food, that you can easily include in your diet (soup, salad…).

Lentils are rich in nutrition and low in fat. Which makes them a good option in a “weight loss diet” but not only you should consume lentils more often as it has a lot of health benefits!
